ALICJA PAŁYS 

Alicja Pałys is a product and furniture designer from Poland and the founder and creative director of Rou Products and Alicja Pałys Design Studio. 

She studied Industrial Design in Warsaw and is a winner of the scholarship of the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. Following her studies, she gained professional experience working in design studios in Poland and Scandinavia. Her works have been exhibited at numerous exhibitions in Poland and abroad such as EXPO Milano, Dutch Design Week, London Design Festival and Salone Internazionale del Mobile amongst others. 

In 2018 she joined the Design Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice in the capacity of an assistant lecturer. 

Alicja Palys’s work focuses on details and materials and is characterised by her continues search and exploration of forms.
